Striving, earning, and achieving
Striving to be a healthy eater. Getting good grades. Being employed after graduating. Having friends to hang out with. Earning a salary and not just a wage. Having a side-hustle. You probably strive for at least one thing on that list.
And you're STRIVING, ACHIEVING, EARNING -- what the hell is wrong with that?? Those are supposed to be good things - things to be admired.
I'm learning that to strive, achieve, earn... does not automatically give you joy.
If you strive without first connecting with yourself, you feel confused. It's difficult, unnatural, uninspired.
If you achieve without first having a relationship with yourself, you feel empty.
And if you earn without a foundational understanding of your worth, you feel unfulfilled.
I am creating a new relationship with myself where I am enough. I am my supply -- of energy, love, abundance. No person, place, or condition is my supply.
